I'm on Youtube (kinda)

I think my body came with a 31.5 year warranty (which conveniently ran out last month). Man everything seems to be breaking down on me. First I chipped my tooth (at Hooters no less, and ironically on the last day they were open! What's up with Hooters closing?)

Then, my right leg seemingly died on me (it felt like rigimortis hit just the knee joint area). My leg was extremely stiff. If it was straight it ws a chore to bend it and vice versa. After 5 days of this, i finally relented and went to the clinic. It turns out that I had fluid build up in my leg! The Doctor was feeling my knee and it was then i realized it was really swollen (bare in mind i did nothing to hurt it). After some more poking he deduced that it was swollen (and i couldn't bend it) because the fluid was basically acting like a cement had been poured into my leg and that's why I couldn't bend it. So he took a big ass needle (and frigheningly enough, he said it wasn't the biggest one they had) and jammed it in my leg and drained the fluid. He was good. I barely felt the needle go in (he did give me some low grade contact anestetic) and proceded to suck out 2 ounces of fluid (much the same way you use the turkey baster but in reverse). This whole process took like 10 minutes (and it felt better almost instantly). Yet, when i got up to leave, he said we had to just finish up some paperwork and the nurse would escort me out. I wait 30 minutes! He could have done it 3 more times in the time i just sat there waiting! Up till now i don't know why (they're supposed to be running some tests but i haven't heard back from them yet).

Then on to the tooth! Turns out I had a cavity. I'm sure Jill (my dentist cousin) is just shaking her head. It had eroded some of the tooth away and i bit down just wrong on it and it broke (never had a problem with it beforehand). So i had to get a root canal! Man that sucked. The procedure was probably painful, but they numbed me up pretty nicely (though i could still feel my gums swelling). Apparently they procedure is pretty straight forward. They numb you, jam metal robs up your tooth to kill the nerves, and then seal it shut.

Yeah it didn't feel good. About 3/4 of the way through, the novacaine started wearing off so that sucked. Surprisingly, i was fine the rest of the night. But dammmmmn it hurt for the rest of the week!

Ok finally (and i probably should have put this up at the top) I'm on Youtube!
Actually it's Susan (but i helped!). If you listen closely you can hear me ramble something (even i don't know what i said). Susan goes through the 6 minute process of cooking chicken lettuce wraps!

Yeah it could use some polishing but pretty decent for something i slopped together in about 10 minutes.

I'm glad that Sarah, Jennie, Becky, and Heather had fun on their European Vacation. SB I got your postcard about a week after you got back!
