More greeeeat news finds abounds!

First up! An owner if a A/C service company has put up the following billboard by his office:

"Metro Council. Welcome to America. We speak English here. Pass the bill. Immigrants. No habla ingles? No freeo stuffo from el governmento. Comprende por favor?"

Second up! There is guy with an unforgettable name from Vietnam. He's basically the 50 cent of Hanoi. His name is (translated and i'm not making this up either) FINED 6500 Dollars (well technically BOT as that's the currency). Vietnam had a 2 child policy (modeled after China's 1 child policy) and this son was the FIFTH child so the government fined him 6500 bot as punishment. So the dad was pissed off so he named the son that! Can you imagine the hell that kid must've gone through? FINED 6500 BOT it's dinner time. Hey FINED 6500 BOT you want to watch the game? He actually had to endure this name for 19 years despite repeated pleas to his father (and even the government asked on his behalf) but the dad wouldn't budge. 6500 Bot is roughly about 50 cents.

Third up! Six Flags FEAR FACTOR style!

The Disney run last weekend was very fun. It was the most themed run i've ever been in (it ran through both of the parks). But Good GOD! it was the most disorganized race i'd ever been in. NONE of the Disney staff had a clue what was going on, the parking lot where the race started was virtually impossible to get into and confusing to navigate once you did get into it. And the trail was so narrow you couldn't even run half the time (which in itself wasn't a bad thing ha ha) due to all of the people getting bottlenecked.

Oh man i thought illegal immigration couldn't get more annoying.... or amusing. I was listening to the Bill Handel Show from 9/6 and they had a report that almost made me spit my drink out laughing (mental note, only drink while pausing iPod or during non Bill Handel or Keith & The Girl shows). It deals with GAY illegal immigration! I was like, "what the hell?" As i'm sure most people didn't care, they had more illegal immigration rallys on Labor Day. The KFI reporter was trying to find people to interview and ran across the "Out For Immigration" Group. This is a gay illegal immigrant activist group (try saying that fast or without laughing)! They are fighting for the right to bring in their gay lovers but:

1. They're illegal
2. They can't sponsor them since gay marriage isn't recongized in this county

I am in some PAIN right now. I did a ton of squats the other night (just bodyweight, not ones with weights) and my quads are killing me. I'm hurting just thinking about walking right now ha ha.

The new crop of iPods and stuff were announced yesterday. I think i'll wait for the G6 iPod to come out (the one probably around Feb next year with the touch screen and rumored bluetooth so no wires). I was reading Wil Wheaton's page today (Star Trek's Wesley Crusher or one of the kids from Stand By Me, also to be playing Cosmic Boy on the Teen Titans replacement cartoon: Superboy and the Legion of Superheroes) by way of Digg HERE and noticed he had a hell of a time with iTunes 7. Maybe i'll just wait for a while to get that download.

Last weekend was the end of the 5 month promotion that Harrah's was running. The Million, Million, or Million (or something like that) contest. You could win $1 Million, $1 Million in slot credit, or a million American Airline Frequent Flyer miles. They had a swipe thing daily that you could win free stuff, but to enter into the big contest you had to swipe at a specific time at the Flamingo (new home to Toni Braxton). I went when the line opened and man it was a loooooooooooong line. I had these two old white wind bag ladies in front of me who did nothing but BITCH. Why is it that white people always bitch the most about everything? The line took 45 minutes to get through and it was not like it was some secret it was long so they could have come back but it was nothing but complaining almost the whole time! I must have called at least 8 people trying to find something else to listen to aside from these women. Ugggh, and to top it off, i didn't win anything from the contest!

At least it's football season now! Though i am really worried that the Chiefs will be doing about as well as the Royals this year (10 more losses and the Royals will be the only team to lose 100 games 3 times in 5 years!). If Trent goes down and the Offensive line stays porous like it was, it's gonna be a long season.
