Crips (and i don't mean gang members or Jennie Ho!)

Last week was a bit of an annoying time for me and handicapped people. I had two instances that just drove me nuts. On Monday i was leaving the Palms minding my own business when this guy and woman in a wheelchair (i'm assuming it's his wife) just stop right in front of me for no reason (so my mutant power has somehow manifested itself to be able to attract bad walkers as well as bad drivers). So i slip by them on the right side (between the guy and a chair at a slot machine) and then suddenly both of them are giving me attitude! I was like what the hell? They're yelling at me saying i should have gone around them on the left side so i told them that they're not in a parking lot so they shouldn't have stopped. Then a few days later, i was driving home and this car kept continually getting in my way and was like like 20 in a 35 and there were just enough cars coming from the other way to keep me from going around them. They were driving a Chevy Malibu (the new ones) so i knew they could have gone faster (those things can move!). So as my luck would have it, they drive all the way to my apt complex and park right beside where i need to park (i had to go to the mail room). I parked after them, got to the mail room, sorted my mail and even got all the way back to my car and they hadn't even gotten out yet! As they're getting out as i'm getitng ready to leave i see it's an old guy and his handicapped wife (common theme) and he's BITCHING at his grandkids (i'm assuming were) at why they weren't helping grandma out of the car.

On a lighter note, it was GAMBLING TIME last week! I gambled more last week then i have the entire year..... and didn't spend a dime (well except on gas)! I had gotten a free slot credit voucher from the Wynn ($10 a week) so i went on Monday (before the Palms people with attitude) and played my $10 and won $30. I also put in a bet for the Hurricanes to win the Stanley Cup (which they did) so i won another $20 on top of that. Wednesday i went to the Palms for my free Megabucks slot pull (Please God let me win that so i can just be a bum!) and won $150 on one of my spins (you get two). So i was sitting pretty last week.

Buuuuuuuut wait, it gets better this week! Today (monday) i went with a coworker to the Wynn again and got a free dinner (he had enough slot points to get us both a free buffet). Then Bob graciously let me play with his wife's slot card (she's out of town) so i had $75 in free slot credit. With that credit, i won $40 and decided to try my luck at Wheel of Fortune. The Wheel was not too kind for most of the day. I lost practially everything. A guy 3 seats down from me hit the Spin and hit the 1000 credits mark (the most on the bonus wheel for those of you who don't know what i'm talking about, Sarah) which on a $0.25 machine equals $250! I was like, "dude! i've never seen anyone hit that!" As i'm trying to look to see if he had actually hit the 1000, a chinese woman gets in my way (so now my mutant power has mutated to people just getting in my way when i'm trying to look in a specific direction). So back to me. I'm losing all $40 till i'm down to my last three dollars (i had gotten one spin in that time frame for 20 credits, the lowest number on the board) and i was talking to a guy beside me on how they just tease you with that to get you to gamble more. As i push my way down to $2, i hit the spin again! I was sure i'd get 25 credits this time (the second lowest amount and very teasingly beside the 1000 credit mark). As i'm waiting for it to stop on the 25, i notice that the 25 has stopped one left of the middle..... i won the 1000 credits! First i was speechless, then i screamed because i won, then screamed again because the guy beside me punched me to exclaim how i won the 1000! So i took that as a sign to stop :) I made all the necessary points for me to get more free slot credit at the Wynn month so i'll be happy gambling on their money for a while (and hopefully hustle a room out of them or something :)
