Weiiiiiiiiird Coincidence

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/10/19/spain.us.soldiers/index.html

This is an article that was posted today on CNN.com

It details how the Spanish government has issued arrest warrents for 3 soldiers in connection to an unnecessary and unwarranted tank blast into a HOTEL in Iraq during the US invasion back in 2003. 3 places were hit and 3 journalists (all non US based) were killed. The US claims they were counter attacking Iraqi soldiers but even US/British journalists said no one was firing on the US trooops.

the Weiiiiiiiiird Coincidence part is that the last two movies i've watched in the last day and a half were Black Hawk Down and a documentary called Control Room. Control Room deals with the Al Jazeera TV network, which is basically the CNN of the Arab world. The US says it's a propaganda machine for Bin Laden and his ilk, but the documentary shows how the US uses progaganda to assist them (as any country would do in a war). Very interesting to see the other side of broadcasting. One of the 3 journalists killed in the above mentioned article was Taras Protsyuk, who worked for Al Jazeera. His death is covered for about 10 minutes worth of the documentary. Another thing brought up is how the US is very quick to forget past events, and one of the things brought up was botched US operation in Somalia, which was essentially the movie Black Hawk Down. So it's weird how all this stuff pops up right after i watch it.

Todays random exercise thought: Well i need to start exercising again for one ha ha. I went to my Piyo class tonight but for some reason my right knee was giving me some minor problems. I did a bunch of squats last night so i thought that would help strengthen it, bu tthe quad were hurting too. Last week i did the Taebo Focus Abs/Mid Section (the whole hours worth) and man i was HURTING the next day. It was a great workout so i'll probably do it again tomorrow. I'm eagerly awaiting getting the Tae Bo Boot camp dvd as that's supposed to be pretty good from what i read.
